Finding a place to launch your boat and park your vehicle can be tricky when boating on Lake Geneva. Often, planning ahead is necessary! Here is all the information you need to know about the four public boat launches on Lake Geneva!

Downtown Lake Geneva Launch

Address: 328 Wrigley Dr., Lake Geneva, WI 53147 ( google maps )
The Downtown Lake Geneva boat launch offers pricing for residents and non-residents. They also offer season passes to their launch based on residency status as well as boat size. Trailer parking is located behind the Bella Vista Suites, which is across the street from the launch.

City Resident Prices

  • Non-trailer/non-motorized (kayak, canoe): $7 daily, $70 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $10 daily, $100 seasonally
  • Boat 20ft-25ft 11in: $14 daily, $140 seasonally
  • Boat 26ft and over: $16 daily, $160 seasonally

Non-Resident Prices 

  • Non-trailer/non-motorized (kayak, canoe): $8 daily, $80 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $11 daily, $110 seasonally
  • Boat 20ft-25ft 11in: $21 daily, $210 seasonally
  • Boat 26ft and over: $24 daily, $240 seasonally

Fontana Boat Launch

Address: 200 Lake St., Fontana-on-Geneva Lake, WI 53125 ( google maps )
This launch operates 24 hours a day and has an honor box for daily boat launch payments when it is not staffed. There is also a parking lot specifically for this launch on the corner of Reid St. and Third Avenue, labeled lot number 4. Vehicles with trailers are $15 a day and vehicles with trailer and daily or season boat launch stickers are free of charge. There is no overnight parking policy in this lot.

  • Non-motorized/non-trailered (kayak, canoe): $8.50 daily, $85 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $11.75 daily, $117.50 seasonally
  • Boat 20ft-25ft 11in: $14.25 daily, $142.50 seasonally
  • Boat 26ft and under 30ft: $17.00 daily, $170 seasonally

Non-Resident Prices

  • Non-motorized/non-trailered (kayak, canoe): $8.50 daily, $85 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $11.75 daily, $117.50 seasonally
  • Boat 20ft-25ft 11in: $21.25 daily, $212.50 seasonally
  • Boat 26ft and under 30ft: $25.25 daily, $252.50 seasonally

Town of Linn Boat Launch

Address: Linn Boat launch, Lake Geneva, WI 53147 ( google maps )
This launch is small, but it does provide parking as well as a swimmable beach. Payments are completed through a machine located on sight. Users must pay before launching using a credit or debit card. Cash payments are accepted at the town clerk’s office during business hours. The town of Linn does offer free or discounted prices for active military or veterans based on residency status. To receive these benefits, those who apply must go to the town clerk’s office to prove residency status and provide proof of service.

City Resident Prices

  • Non-motorized and trailered: $5 daily, $50 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $11.75 daily, $117.50 seasonally
  • Boat 20 ft and less than 26ft: $14.25 daily, $142.50 seasonally
  • Boat more than 26ft: $17 daily, $170 seasonally
  • Veterans or active duty: free with proof of residency and documentation verified by Town Clerk Office

Non-Resident Prices

  • Non-motorized and trailered: $7.50 daily, $75 seasonally
  • Boat less than 20ft: $11.75 daily, $117.50 seasonally
  • Boat 20 ft and less than 26ft: $21.50 daily, $215 seasonally
  • Boat more than 26ft: $25.50 daily, $255 seasonally
  • Veterans or active duty: $7.50 daily, $75 seasonally

Williams Bay Boat Launch

Address: 89 E Geneva St. #49, Williams Bay, WI 53191 ( google maps )
This launch has about 45 free parking spaces for trailers and cars as well as an overflow location at the Lions Field House. To purchase annual launch passes, you must go to Village Hall. Daily passes can be purchased at the launch. The launch only accepts checks or cash, so be prepared with the proper form of payment.

  • Non-motorized/non-trailered (west launch): $2 daily, $20 seasonally (bring sticker to show launch staff)
  • Non-motorized/non-trailered (east launch): $8.50 daily, $85 seasonally
    19ft 11in or less: $11.75 daily, $117.50 seasonally (sticker affix to drivers side front of boat)
  • Boat 20ft to 25ft 11in: $14.25 daily, $142.50 seasonally (sticker affix to drivers side front of boat)
  • Boat 26ft and over: $17 daily, $170 seasonally (sticker affix to drivers side front of boat)
